April Report

Marge and I took a week trip to northern California.
Here we are stopped at a rest stop near the salt
flats. Later we went to the "Green Toad" bed and
breakfast with Sansomes; then to El Dorado Hills
with Wilkins; and finally we spent two days in Sonoma to meet with Jim, Bob and Larry Adams (chiropractors) for some family business. Dinner that night was with Henry and Diane Mayo (Winery owners).

We had a wonderful surprise on the Saturday of general conference. Sergio Rodriguez, his wife Julia and two sons and a daughter visited with us. We went to dinner at Olive Garden. Later that evening Sergio, his sons and I went to the Saturday priesthood session. IT WAS JUST GREAT TO SEE HIM AGAIN AND HEAR ABOUT HIS MOTHER, BROTHERS NEPHI AND BYRON AND THEIR FAMILIES AND ALL ABOUT HIS SISTER AND FAMILY.

The visit wasn't long enough. Sergio looks like Tevia of "fidler on the roof" fame. Great kids and a delightful wife. He says they like Canada and will be getting a new temple in their community soon.
