Musings

March 20 is Bill Hepworth's 17th birthday. We hope it will be a good day for you Bill. I can remember so vividly when you were one (your first birthday) and had a birthday at our Mapleton home. Above are photos of you, your cake, your mom and some of the rest of our family celebrating the event. You were a clone of Brad (as is Dan) and were so much fun.
One of my favorite plays from the days when the Stake MIA with various specialists would go the Salt Lake City for June conference, see the church play, and then return to do the play locally. We put on the production at the Inter-Stake Center in Oakland. But I digress. The name of the play was "Suddenly You're Older". In the course of a 2 hour production the central characters go from toddlers to really old people in their 70's and 80's. In a somewhat similar fashion Bill will go from being a toddler to a 17 year old teenager. For Marge and I that tunnel of time has moved rapidly--almost like a blur.
Where have all the years gone?
Catherine Groscost, Amy Groscost and Liz Carroll are here for a few days. They attended a bridal shower today for Whitney who will marry Chad Groscost in April. Chad is the oldest son of Jeff & Dana Groscost. Whitney and Chad both attend BYU. I don't recall Whitney's last name but no matter. In another month it will change to Groscost and then I will know it.
We talked to John today. He was at the LA Airport Marriott for the night on his way to Cabo for a speaking engagement and then on to Mexico City and Brazil and other assorted places. In the event you didn't know, He, Hui and Sophie will move to Beijing from Shanghai in another week where Sophie will enroll in a bilingual Kindergarten. Hui will be starting her new CFO job. (the details are on John's blog).
Marge and I will be starting a New.FamilySearch class during sunday school tomorrow.
We do enjoy reading each of the blog posts by family members. We keep up with your "stuff" and get to know what's happening in your lives. So keep blogging.
Su Padre
