October One
No pics just some random thoughts. We love seeing pics of our grandchildren--especially the little guys. So, you ask, what is happening in our lives? October started with a wonderful church conference. Jason and I were talking about the week-end and we both agreed that the "stemwinder" talk was from Elder Holland. Wow!! Anyway, it was a time to recharge spiritual batteries and to make new resolve.
Catherine Groscost and her daughters, Liz and Amy were in town for general conference. We hosted Jill and Eric Bergoyne (the daughter of Liz and spouse) who stayed with us. Jill is expecting a baby in November. I think Dana Groscost (Jeff's widow) was also in town but I didn't see her. The group were also here to spend a few days with MaryAnn Smith.
Looking ahead the big football game for the month will be against TCU on 10/24 - here in Provo. TCU is highly ranked and will be a tough opponent.
On 10/28 Marge and I will be flying to Islp airport in NY to visit with the Harts. Will be there for 8 days. We expect to see Ann and Carlotta on 10/29 in Manhattan. They will be heading back to Florida on 10/31. We can't wait to see Ellie and Nico. Moreover, Marge is getting excited for all stuff Italian in NY and is already using the expression "Holy Canole".
Of course we will be with Ellie and Nico for Halloween parades and the evening of "trick" or "treat". Don't know what I will wear but will take a sheet just in case.
Marge and I will be meeting Rod and Sheryl Petersen at the Art City Trolley in Springville on Friday night for dinner. What do you think Ami & Becki?
We expect Becki to share in her loot when returning from Chicago.
Did ya'll notice that David has finally started to post on his blog. Way to go Dave!!
Will post again later--maybe with some pics.
