August Part I

August has been a very busy month. For the past week Brit Hepworth was our guest and we had loads of fun and games (i.e. phase 10, scrabble, etc.) Brit is much like her mom - full of passion and very creative. Note the hat she made to wear when making breakfast for the family. On the menu was eggs (any style), pancakes (including blueberry and banana), toast and orange juice. Brit also helped grandma baby sit Nathan.

John showed up for two days as a diversion from San Francisco. He is the master multi-tasker. He can answer 400 e-mails, write reports and play scrabble--all at the same time. In our big scrabble game we initially told Brit that we would double each of her scores. After about 1/2 of the game Brit was way ahead so we nixed that idea. At the end Dave was first, John second, Brit third and them Marge and finally B. Ray.

Evening in Provo.

Above is Brit serving grandpa breakfast while showing her best immitation of the world's most famous chefs.

We were entertained almost daily by Brit playing our famous Grandma Fenton piano. Note that all of the keys work and are covered by real ivory. We recently had the piano tuned.

Fishing in Jackson, Wyoming. Those fishing were Brit , Jenni, Mike, PopPop, Bill and Dan.

Mike is my clone!

Jenni was trooper. She stayed in the cold water all day.

So did Brit.

Here's Brit again doing breakfast at 545 E. Normandy Drive, Provo. I tried the move the photo
up to the top of the post but could not do so.

While in Jackson Hole for a week we went fishing four of the five days we were there. We also went to the Bar J wranglers for a show and supper. Here are some shots at the Bar J while waiting for dinner.

Now, back to fishing. Below are several shots taken while fishing the Snake river. In August Part II there will be other fishing photos.

The Big Three!

Note below that Bill seemed to spend most of his time on rocks or swimming the rivers. He and Mike even crossed the Snake river several times.

Dan and PopPop.

Brit in the water again!

One Friday night during August Marge and I attended a celebration of Dick Stauffer's 80th birthday. He has been very involved in Murray City Government and is very popular. The event was well attended. Here is a photo of Dick and Joyce Stauffer. Most of you will recall that Joyce was my paralegal and office manager for many, many years in California.

The trip looks like it was awesome! I wish we could have gone... next year in Wyoming.
